The new lido is making a splash - for all the wrong reasons.

The villagers of Compton Poppleford are in a buoyant mood when the new lido opens. It's a chance to enjoy the sunshine, relax by the pool and pose in hand-knitted bathing suits. But excitement turns to horror when a corpse is found floating in the lido one evening.

Who's the murderer? Churchill and Pemberley dive into the investigation with their trusty dog companion, Oswald. As secrets and rivalries rise to the surface, the case gets complicated. An old foe causes problems for Churchill and the victim's widower seems determined to win her affections.
