Goodnight, Wherever You Are

For every child who has someone to miss, and every grown-up who wants bedtime to feel a little closer.

When Teddy cannot sleep, Benjamin helps him fold a tiny yellow Moonboat. Teddy tucks a warm light inside, whispers a goodnight, and sends it out beneath the moon.

The little boat sails over city rooftops, country fields, sea waves, snowy villages, desert stars, and a sleepy train, carrying love to children everywhere before finding its way back home.

Tender, magical, and full of quiet wonder, Goodnight, Wherever You Are is a bedtime story about connection, comfort, and the small rituals that help children feel safe.

A story to read softly, remember often, and share with someone you love under the same moon.

About the Author

Amanda Lucia Anseeuw Sadden writes gentle, imaginative stories for children and the grown-ups who read beside them.

She holds a BA in English and has taught English to children around age ten, an age full of questions, humor, wonder, and big feelings. She also pursued graduate study in family therapy, which deepened her interest in the ways children feel safe, loved, understood, and connected to the people around them.

Amanda has been a story writer all her life. Her books are inspired by family moments, beloved places, bedtime conversations, and the everyday magic children often notice first. As a mother to a beautiful son and wife to a loving husband, she writes stories that invite families to slow down, imagine together, and end the day feeling close.

Goodnight, Wherever You Are is a bedtime story about sending love across distance, finding comfort under the same moon, and remembering that even the smallest goodnight can travel far.
