Love Under Renovation: A Willow Creek Romance

In the mountains of Oregon, one woman is about to discover that the most important restoration project is her own.

Ava Gardiner is a rising star in Chicago's high-stakes architecture scene-or at least, she was. Exhausted and drowning in debt, the last thing she expects is an inheritance from her eccentric Great Aunt Beatrice: a dilapidated Victorian cottage in the remote town of Willow Creek. Ava's plan is simple: flip the house in thirty days, pay off her creditors, and flee back to the city.

But the cottage, with its sagging porch and hidden rot, refuses to be rushed. And then there's Liam-the local contractor who treats every board and nail with a reverence Ava doesn't understand. Brooding, stubborn, and fiercely protective of his town's history, Liam has no time for a city girl looking for a quick profit.

As the rain-slicked Oregon winter sets in, Ava and Liam find themselves forced into a reluctant partnership. Between structural emergencies and the slow, rhythmic pull of small-town life, the friction between them begins to ignite. But as the thirty-day deadline looms, Ava is forced to confront a truth more terrifying than a failing foundation: the life she's been building in the city might not be the one she wants to live.

In this "Grumpy/Sunshine" contemporary romance, Love Under Renovation explores the beauty of second chances, the strength of found family, and the enduring power of a place called home.
