Devil's Brother

They took his brother first. Now, the cycle has begun again.

The Wicker Man meets Gannibal in this terrifying mystery-thriller, where a teacher must protect his students from an island that devours its young.

After being adopted, Veran thought Daemonsford would be a safe haven for him and his little brother. Five years later, his brother's body is fished from the sea. Ten years later, Veran discovers it had been no accident.

Returning as the island's new teacher-furious and desperate for answers-he is assigned the Year Ten students. But something is very wrong with them. Forced to mimic animal sounds during roll call, they are shunned and brutalised by the islanders. As Veran breaks through their hostility, he realises a terrible truth.

His brother had endured the same.

Digging deeper, Veran uncovers an approaching ritualistic competition-one that terrifies the students. He races to protect them and unearth the island's darkest secrets.

But the islanders whisper. They say the Devil is watching him, that he's asking too many questions, provoking its wrath, and that he really should leave-

-before the island eats him too.
