My Arrogant Friends

"My Arrogant Friends" is a powerful and deeply personal account of survival, injustice, and the enduring fight for human dignity.

Written by Ham Elisha Kaima, this book brings together true events witnessed and experienced throughout his life, from political turmoil in Uganda to the harsh realities of exile and life as a refugee. Through his story, he exposes the devastating impact of power, corruption, and indifference, while also highlighting the strength, resilience, and hope that define the human spirit.

This is not just a historical narrative. It is a voice that refuses to be silenced. A testimony of what it means to lose a homeland, to face persecution, and to rebuild life in a foreign land while holding on to identity, faith, and purpose.

At its heart, "My Arrogant Friends" is a call for justice, compassion, and global responsibility. It challenges the reader to reflect on the systems that create suffering and the shared duty we have to protect freedom and dignity for all.

As his daughter, it is an honor to share his story with the world, one that is as informative as it is moving, and as truthful as it is necessary.

This book is for anyone who believes in freedom, in justice, and in the power of truth.
