Secret Story of 9/11

The Secret Story of 9/11 investigates the chaos, conspiracies, and lies of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks upon the United States by Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.

The author carefully examines the 9/11 Tapes to reconstruct the chaotic history of that day, providing an accurate and comprehensive timeline of the events on that fateful morning. The 9/11 Tapes record FAA officials, air traffic controllers, airline and military pilots, airline and military personnel, a flight attendant using an airphone on one of the hijacked airliners, and threats made by two of the hijackers.

The Secret Story of 9/11 provides a real-time, 360-degree view of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, as multiple emergencies often unfolded at precisely the same moment, at high-speed. The Secret Story of 9/11 is a fascinating look into how personnel from the FAA, military, and airlines reacted and performed in the face of unprecedented, heart-stopping circumstances.

In the aftermath of 9/11, however, senior government officials spun a story that resulted in President Bush's popularity rating soaring to 92 percent in the polls, the highest on record. In reality, the 9/11 Tapes expose how senior government officials at the Department of Defense and the White House shockingly lied about the events of those days. Indeed, the 9/11 Tapes directly contradict the official version of 9/11. Beyond a doubt, the 9/11 Tapes prove that the Pentagon tried to cover up the vastness of its confusion on 9/11.

The Secret Story of 9/11 also scrutinizes the numerous pre-9/11 warnings that an unprecedented terrorist attack was imminent, which were unequivocally ignored by the Bush Administration. The vast array of conspiracy theories which ensued in the aftermath of 9/11 are also thoroughly investigated in The Secret Story of 9/11 -- with surprising answers.
