Book Club: How I Became the Ultimate Hard-core, High-handed, Card-carrying Bibliophilist

Part "How-to" for avid readers and book clubs to augment their enjoyment of a book, Donna Diamond's BOOK CLUB: How I Became the Ultimate Hard-core, High-handed, Card-carrying Bibliophilist is an annotated record of the books she has read with her discussion groups for more than twenty years. Introduced by a quotation at the beginning of each month, the reader will discover what was happening in the world as we read together. Part "Memoir," Donna is telling her personal story as we read the many books that defined us as a nation. It is a casual retelling of the tales that impacted our lives in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. BOOK CLUB is your solution to reminiscing with the author or learning a few things that might even help if you become a contestant on Jeopardy!
