31 Robots is a showcase of my fourth attempt at completing a popular month long drawing challenge. Aside from creating one original robot each day, I imposed two additional rules for myself:


1. All drawings must be 100% digital on my iPad from start to finish. No traditional pencil base sketches.

2. All drawings must be square format for popular social media friendliness.


The challenge was completed on time and with all conditions met. 31 black and white drawings of robots created completely digitally and in a square format. Some nights ran longer than others, some days the struggle was beyond real, but in the end everything came together.


A month later I decided to go through and add color to all of them, which led to the creation of this art book. On the following pages you will get to see the initial sketch, notes, and line work of each robot opposite the final rendering.


I hope you enjoy this showcase of my art as much as I enjoyed creating it!
