Healthy Disruption explores the emotional, physical, economic, and social trauma of a divided republic and the broken healthcare system within it. America and the American healthcare system are inextricably tied, and there should be a call not only to action, but to confront the issues that plague both institutions. This book examines America's failed promise to underserved citizens, specifically those who are black, and the subsequent faulty foundation of the healthcare system that has been established based on systemic and structural discrimination in this country.

This story is told through the lens of Gyasi C. Chisley, a 25-year healthcare executive, who has ascended to new plateaus within the industry from a financial, private equity, ownership, and governance perspective. Chisley is not your traditional healthcare administrator--and proud of it! This has shaped his philosophy of a multi-trillion-dollar industry and the importance of changing it to reflect the American pledges of equality.
