Mountain Gorilla Dreams

Mountain Gorilla Dreams tells an enchanting story about a gentle gorilla named Ubwiza, who hopes for the best for her daughter's future in the majestic Rwandan mountains. Veterinarians, teachers, and wildlife conservationists give Ubwiza great hope as they all strive to do their best to protect her gorilla troop.

This is Kristen Halverson's eighteenth children's book. She plans to use this gorilla conservation-themed picture book insummer2023 public library reading programs. Her goal is to educate young people about gorillas and those who care about them, and to advocate for the species' survival. Halverson plans to donate twenty percent of total book proceeds to Gorilla Doctors(R).
