Donna Edwards was born in Nevis of Anguillian and Kittitian parentage. She worked in the field of primary education in both Anguilla and St. Kitts, and at College Level in the United States.

Donna Edwards holds BS in Management Information Systems from Barry University, a MS in Management Information Systems from Nova Universi- ty, including a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Theology from Harverst Reapers University. She is a Minister of the Gospel.
