Joseph Berg was one of the more notable clergymen of his era in the Reformed movement. This is one of the more interesting of his prolific literary works; a series of entries detailing the nature of the angelic and demonic, a bit about Satan, and mortality, all fleshed out with verses from the Christian bible. For its treatment of the nature of the Devil it is of interest even to those (namely occultists) who may not fully agree with its moral summations.
