Around the world, many ecosystems on land are being affected by climate change, and they often have difficulty recovering from the overuse of their resources. This title examines the history of using and preserving land around the world as well as some of the greatest threats different environments face today. It also looks at steps being taken to protect vulnerable ecosystems, ways in which activists have taken action to preserve land, and how everyday people can get involved.
