Ponderings on the Parables: The Prodigal Son and Other Lost Parables

Scripture records for us many of Jesus' parables. Not all of them, to be sure. The Evangelist John tells us "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." (John 21: 25) This volume looks at the parable called in many translations as "The Parable of the Prodigal Son". Some translations call it "The Parable of the Two Brothers," "The Parable of the Lost Son", "The Parable of the Loving Father", or "The Parable of the of the Forgiving Father". This parable is recorded by Luke (Luke 15:11-32). This book looks at what it means to be lost then found again.
