Second Advent Of Jesus Christ: Not Premillennial (1859)

The Second Advent of Jesus Christ: Not Premillennial is a book written by Joseph F. Berg and published in 1859. The book is a theological treatise that argues against the idea of premillennialism, which is the belief that Jesus Christ will return to earth before a thousand-year reign of peace. Berg presents his arguments based on his interpretation of biblical texts and historical evidence. He asserts that the second coming of Christ will occur after the millennium, and that the events leading up to it will be marked by great tribulation and suffering. The book is written in a scholarly style and is intended for a Christian audience who are interested in eschatology, the study of the end times. Despite being over 150 years old, the book remains relevant to contemporary debates about the timing and nature of Christ's return. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
