History Of Early Opinions Concerning Jesus Christ V1: Compiled From Original Writers Proving That Th

""A History of Early Opinions Concerning Jesus Christ"" is a two-volume book written by Joseph Priestley, a renowned theologian and scientist of the 18th century. The book is a compilation of original writings that explores the early beliefs and opinions about Jesus Christ in the Christian Church. The first volume of the book argues that the early Christian Church was Unitarian, meaning that they believed in the unity of God and rejected the doctrine of the Trinity. Priestley supports his argument by citing a range of primary sources, including the writings of early Church Fathers, such as Ignatius and Justin Martyr, as well as the New Testament itself. He also examines the theological debates and controversies that arose in the early Church over the nature of Jesus Christ and the Trinity. The book provides a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the early Christian Church's beliefs about Jesus Christ, shedding light on the historical and theological context in which these beliefs emerged. It is an important work for anyone interested in the history of Christianity, theology, and religious studies. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
