Echoes of The Blue Tango is the story of businessman Tyler Ostler and the intrigue and romance he encounters on a long overdue vacation around the world aboard the ocean liner, S.S. Prince Richard. On the cruise, he meets several interesting people, including a retired ballerina, an e'toile, who proves in every way to be "one lady!" The scope of his journey covers a progression from self-reliant, self-satisfied acceptance of his own isolation to the acceptance of the deep, abiding love, and his need of another. It is a tale of passion, both controlled and uncontrolled, and the passion he embraces is best exemplified by the staid and stiff dance, the tango, a dance of extraordinary passion for sure, but certainly a dance of great control.
