Archaeology and Landscape Studies in North Lincolnshire

The research programme was initiated with the aim of investigating the nature of early exploitation and occupation of part of the chalk uplands of North Lincolnshire. Surface features such as long and round barrows demonstrate use of the Wolds since at least the Neolithic period.
