Hindi: An Active Introduction

Prepared by the Foreign Service Institute of the U.S. Department of State, with the assistance of the Peace Corps, this book uses a new approach intended to make it possible for students to begin using Hindi, from the first hour of class, to obtain information and exchange opinions about topics which are important to them. People learn a language by using it - by using it for its real purposes: communicating, obtaining food, transportation, information, and other necessities.
