Aeldenwood: Book One of the Drayenmark Saga

Two hundred years ago, the Shattering of Nations broke apart the Kingdom of Caleria. For two centuries the Aeldenwood has since grown out of control. Cities, towns and small kingdoms have fallen before the inexorable march of the forest. And with the wood comes also the whisper of nightmarish creatures that hunt beneath its leaves. Now, with the fractured cities of Old Caleria bound by the Mercenary Code of Conduct, war has become the constant for a people who once prided themselves upon their peaceful ways. And into this world are thrust three men whose actions may very well save, or forever destroy, the world in which they live. Gavin Silveron, the mercenary Captain of the Fey'Derin, will lead his men into a battle he could not hope to win . In the border keep of Darkenedge, Leoric D'Athgaran will face not only his troubled past but the dangers of the untamed Wilds . And Alessan Oakleaf, a crippled, young son of a Lumber, will brave the Aeldenwood itself.
