On leaving Western Canada to move to England Rikki had to leave some of her pets with her daughter, Sarah, who already had several of her own. But "The Kids" (the pets) missed each other, and to ease their sorrow, they began sending e-mails back and forth. Although some of The Kids are 'related', there are others who have not yet met.
