Conflict Of Mind Versus Intelligence And Reason

The Conflict of Mind Versus Intelligence and Reason is a philosophical work by Edmund Shaftesbury that explores the tension between the irrationality of the mind and the rationality of intelligence and reason. The book delves into the ways in which the mind can be influenced by emotions, desires, and biases, leading to irrational decision-making and behavior. Shaftesbury argues that intelligence and reason are essential tools for overcoming these irrational tendencies and achieving a more objective and rational approach to life. He also examines the role of education and society in promoting rationality and critical thinking. The Conflict of Mind Versus Intelligence and Reason is a thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of human cognition and the challenges of achieving a truly rational perspective.THIS 90 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Right: A System of Personal Training Exceeding in Importance the Most Valuable Courses Offered in School, College, Or University Based on the Newest Acquisition to Human Knowledge, the Discovery of the Mind, by Edmund Shaftesbury.
