Mystery Of The Kingdom Of God: The Secret Of Jesus' Messiahship And Passion (1914)

The Mystery Of The Kingdom Of God: The Secret Of Jesus Messiahship And Passion is a book written by Albert Schweitzer and published in 1914. The book explores the idea of the Kingdom of God and how it relates to Jesus' role as the Messiah. Schweitzer argues that Jesus' true message was not about personal salvation or the afterlife, but rather the establishment of a new social order based on love, justice, and compassion. He also delves into the concept of the ""messianic secret"" in the Gospel narratives, suggesting that Jesus deliberately kept his true identity hidden from his followers until the right time. The book is a scholarly work, drawing on Schweitzer's extensive knowledge of biblical studies and historical research, and is considered a classic in the field of New Testament scholarship. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
