Fray

The world has changed in the last 200 years to an unspeakably desolate wasteland, where the harsh elements are met by even harsher creatures. The human race is dwindling to just a few scattered outposts, and even these are on the verge of being overrun by Destrachan, a disease infested group of humans who have lost all capability of thought. Only one person can stand in their path, and she isn't sure if she is up to the task of saving her fellow survivors. And the catch, of course, is that another being stands in her way, one who stands at the center of the Destrachan, who can lead and direct them at will, who may have found immortality . . . for a price.
