Border Terrier - A Complete Anthology of the Dog -

A plucky, workmanlike terrier of the Cheviot hills on the Anglo-Scottish border, bred to follow fox to ground alongside the hunt. The Border Terrier gathers the scattered early literature of the breed - its history, description, character and management - into a single readable volume.

These collected accounts range across the Border Terrier's history and origins, its description and character, and the practical business of rearing, breeding and showing it, assembled from the works of the fanciers and authorities who knew the breed best.
