Time Loves A Hero

On a cold, rain-soaked night in the forests near North Bend, Washington, Troy and Dorian Stern encounter the impossible - a silent craft hovering between the trees, waiting for them.
Moments later, their lives - and the course of human history - change forever.
Rescued from an assassination attempt by mysterious travelers from the future, Troy and Dorian are pulled into a hidden war that spans tens of thousands of years. Their rescuers, known as the Zarnians, are not aliens, but descendants of humanity from 50,000 years in the future. Armed with a time-travel vessel called a Variator, they are fighting to preserve the timeline that ensures their civilization will one day exist.
But they are not alone.
An ancient rival civilization from Atlantis has stolen Variator technology and is moving through history, determined to eliminate Troy and Dorian - because their unborn son will one day lay the social and scientific foundation that makes Zarnian civilization possible.
Hunted across time itself, Troy and Dorian must navigate shifting eras, hidden enemies, and the terrifying realization that the future of humanity may depend on choices they have yet to make.
As past and future collide, one truth becomes clear:
Time is not just something we move through. Time is something that remembers us. And sometimes time itselfneeds protecting. To do that they must survive. And to survive... they must become heroes.
Because time doesn't just pass.

Time remembers.

(Time Loves A Hero is the first of five books in the Time Hero Chronicles. It is the prequel to The Legacy, Zarnian Buddhism, The Hybrid, and The Hybrid ll- Zarnian Genesis.)
