ShandraLa

ShandraLa is an allegory based on Matthew 6:19-21 and Matthew 19:21 which both talk about saving up treasures for ourselves in heaven, our eternal retirement account if you will. The story line follows a miniature mermaid and her friends as they live their underwater (earthly) lives and what happens after they morph into fairies (die) and are carried up in a bubble to the king's terrestrial forest world (heaven). I wrote this story because I was trying to imagine what kind of treasure it could be that we are saving up in heaven and how it all plays out.
