Sam Steele, Steele by name and steel by nature, a Detective Sergeant in the Bloomsbury Police Force, aged 30 years. Before he joined the Police, he was a Captain in the Army, where he met some choice fellows. One was called Captain Theodore Drake, good in the Battalion but he went 'strange' upon leaving, a criminal that is, a really good one. He rose from a Captain in the Forces to a General in the criminal world. You name it he did it, drugs, burglaries, extortion etc. Sam Steele and Theodore Drake were bound to meet being the good and the bad in all of us!
