About this book
Three stories in one: First, an exhilaratingly illustrated tale relating the ups and downs of flamboyant Flash, the roller coaster car, and his compassionate brother Freddy, an amusement park train; Second, a granddaughter's introduction recounting the discovery of her grandmother's elusive "Amusement Trains" manuscript, which lay hidden for half a century, and fulfilling her grandmother's wish to have it illustrated and published; Third, a powerfully written foreword bringing to light the author's grandmother's pioneer spirit and fascinating story.
