Essence of Eternity: A 40-Day Devotional

Follow these 40 days of uplifting devotional readings.

The words 'essence of eternity' are taken from a poem written by the author, whose last verse reads,

"Moment by moment give your grace
That I may fragrant be,
To permeate the courts of time
With essence of eternity."

Reading these words, Dr. Harold Berk, former Academic Dean of Detroit Bible College, said, "That wraps up what the Christian life is all about. The eternal Spirit of God is at work, infusing time-limited humanity with hope and non-ending Life!"

In this delightfully personal book, Mavis shares reflections and experiences from home life and Christian ministry in the UK and in Brazil.

Mavis is an active member her local country chapel. In her spare time she reads, paints, writes poetry and walks on the beach. She lives in South-West England in a 'Fisherman's Cottage', a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean.
