With My Eyes Closed: A Father-Daughter Journey in Japan

Part memoir, part travel journal, With My Eyes Closed, is the experience of Matthew Laney and his daughter during an extended trip to Japan shortly after she turned ten. It is not the usual tourist- in-a-foreign-land book. Laney can speak passable Japanese, traveled all over the country, and is actually on good terms with his in-laws.
