American Bondage: A Satire of Globalization

In the near future, the people are rounded up for slave labor and told they're liberated workers. They are told up is down and black is white and most of them believe it or refuse to say otherwise. The New Dawn will bring a better tomorrow. It will bring contentment and happiness. But for some persons the lies spark resistance. Seventeen-year-old Tyler Grodecki is on the run from the First Directorate, America's secret police. In an apathetic land, Tyler's determination to resist the tyranny gives way to cynicism and frustration. In the deconstructed country, he must weigh the cost of fighting back against keeping sane.
