Killing Depths

Deep beneath the waves of the western Pacific, a deadly war is about to begin.

The USS Encinitas, the U.S. Navy's first attack submarine crewed by both men and women, is hunting a rogue Iranian submarine-the Crescent Moon-armed with nuclear-tipped missiles and a mission that could trigger global catastrophe.

But the greatest threat may already be aboard the American submarine.

Hidden among the crew is a predator who has left a trail of murdered women behind on shore. As the Encinitas races through the ocean depths in a deadly game of cat and mouse against a nuclear-armed enemy, NCIS investigator Linus Schag must uncover the killer's identity before the murderer strikes again.

Trapped hundreds of feet beneath the surface, surrounded by enemies and running out of time, Schag faces an impossible mission: stop a ruthless killer before a submarine war erupts-and the Encinitas becomes a steel coffin at the bottom of the sea.
