To diagnose physical diseases, physicians us the International Classification of Diseases (ICD). To diagnose mental disorders, psychiatrists and psychologists use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel of Mental Disorders (DSM). Up to now, chaplains and pastors had no broadly-based classification to diagnose spiritual disorders. The mission of this present volume is to provide a classification of spiritual disorders. To find help with Spiritual Disorders, healing of each of the eight disorders is examined from a research, ethics and faith perspective.
