Power Electronic Systems: Walsh Analysis with MATLAB(R)

Focusing on Walsh/block pulse domain analysis, this book presents orthogonal Walsh functions for analyzing power electronic systems. It covers two major members of the piecewise constant orthogonal function family: orthogonal Walsh and block pulse functions. These bi-valued functions are compatible to digital processing and, by increasing the number of component functions, a continuous-like solution can be obtained. The book shows how the methods are useful for power electronic systems and their optimization.
