Two days before going to the D.M.V. and taking my test, one of the trainers took me out for a final ride and talked to me about student management. You must remember that my instructor also talked extensively about it in the classroom. Because of all of the great training I received, I passed the test with flying colors. So why was I not jumping for joy? I was scared out of my mind on what I was going to do with those 30 or so faces looking back at me in the number 7 mirror. This tongue-in-cheek manual has seven small chapters on what I and others have experienced while managing students during the safe operation of a school bus.
