The age of Camelot was ushered in for gay men to congregate freely in bars. It allowed ROUNDS to open in April 1979 at East Fifty Third Street in Manhattan. Its popularity brought such famous men as Andy Warhol, David Geffen, Steve Rubel, Calvin Klein, Rock Hudson, Vladimir Horowitsz, George Segal, James Levine, Whalen and Madame, Tennessee Williams and Truman Capote just to name a few famous patrons. ROUNDS also attracted rich and famous men from across America and Europe. ROUNDS is the authors memoir of a special time in his life which he cherishes and will never forget the friends he made.
