Uprising

ELYJAH WATSON is one of the few survivors of the apocalypse caused by the uprising of drones - (man-made machines created for dangerous tasks and dismal bidding). While battling the drones and fighting to survive another day, she also must deal with a troubled, heartbreaking past and an uncertain love with a fellow rebel, JACK WOLFE. Her already-dysfunctional world is turned upside down when the leader of the drones sends her former lover-turned-hybrid, (a human that has been transformed into a red-eyed drone), CAIM REINHART, to give her a choice; join them as a hybrid or die.
