This book offers collected poems from Urban Contemporary Writer and Creative Consultant Jeremy Davis. It contains three sections- Poems, Spoken Word and Prose and delivered straight to the reader, with love, from the writer's heart and soul. It is intended to inspire budding writers to continue to experiment with their crafts and push the boundaries of their creativity. WHO AM I? The Truth is... I don't exist. So if the unreal realities... of my immediate extremities should somehow break in... I may be forced to give in. Because I can handle you but I can't handle your thoughts invading my space- Inside these walls, you're a foreigner and I'm like the god of this place- And I need to protect it! So, much of your truths will be vehemently neglected. With all the lives within me, I beg you to embrace the alternative. Because... I'm afraid for your soul... And when you grow old... and inevitably fade away into a memory and into a dream... I'll be forever. Like a nightmare haunting the very best of your legacy... Casting a dark shadow on that which you were thought to be... for I know the truth. Yet... I do not exist! So you're safe for now, because I cannot reveal our secrets. But if one day you breathe me into existence by some fault or mishap, by lapse in your judgment... beware. For we cannot coexist on this plane together One of us must not be- you or me. Who am I?
