A dark, satirical novel about foreign influence in Washington, DC. Set mainly in the wartime fever years just after 9/11, a congressman and his associate tap into the lucrative business of peddling foreign influence. Mastering what they call "Richard III" projects, the associate and his firm help foreign potentates overthrow their relatives and eliminate political opponents, skipping their succession queues with the help of Congress, the Pentagon, and other Washington power centers looking for new allies in the "war on terror."
