What Billy doesn't realize is that the now missing jewel, known as the Heart of Polaris, is the source of all Christmas magic, including the protection of the town from the wicked and covetous Jack Frost, who has been waiting eons for his chance to seize back the lands he believes were taken from him by Santa and his accursed town. Now that Heart of Polaris has gone missing, there is nothing to stop Jack Frost and his army of ice creatures from launching a full-scale invasion.
