Burnt Offering

A fire in Malibu, California abruptly changes Taylor Marsh Casey from a newlywed into a widow. Although Peter's fiery death is ruled an accident, Taylor believes he was murdered for pursuing an art fraud case. Aware of dangers and despite warnings from a psychic, Taylor pursues Peter's case determined to find the killer and exact revenge. His fire-damaged Rolex acts as her talisman and protection, but Taylor packs her Glock 17, just in case.
