After the estrangement of his mother and sisters, twelve years of emotional abuse from his father, and the constant insults of his peers in a long line of new schools, Jesse Sands knows rejection, anger, ridicule, hate, pain and angst all too well. But when a group of bullies force a mysterious serum down Jesse's throat as a prank, Jesse is overcome by these emotions and has no idea that his life is about to become a never-ending fight of good versus evil -- both within himself and with the world around him. As he struggles with the serum's physical and emotional effects, Jesse discovers a gang of ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to obtain his tainted blood. With both the gang and two government agents after him, Jesse must fight not only for his life, but also for the lives of the family and girlfriend he loves.
