For thirty-five years I have been very fortunate to have been in the wholesale floral distribution business. Every day thousands of flowers would arrive in our shop from all over the world, to be processed and distributed to local designers. Every possible color one could think of came through the doors at one time or another, and after thirty-five years I never grew tried their brilliance. I realize that not everyone is so lucky to have such a job in the floral industry; that is why books like Floral Treasures III are so important. Not all of us have time to walk through and enjoy gardens every day. Not all of us can be at the right spot at the right time to capture a blossom in its majestic glory.
