Long Ride To Laramie is the story of the life and times of Amos Moss. Amos left the remains of the war torn south and followed the railroad west. He stopped in Laramie, Wyoming and figured to settle down as a cowboy. Through circumstances beyond his control he became a range detective, Sheriff and Marshall. The stories follow his life as he sees real and fictional events through the eyes of a fictional character. Not a shoot-em-up and not a tale of domestic life. The series chronicles events that shaped Wyoming in the notorious days of the cattle barons. Real and fictional events are wonderfully spun together by a third generation Wyomingite with roots back to the portrayed time.
