Finally Home: Rescued

Maggie Delaney had created a space that allowed her to be safe after escaping the terrors that had followed her from childhood, and still loomed as shadows into her adulthood. Her carefully constructed walls have kept her in a cocoon for years where she paints highly sought-out pictures in total anonymity. Until Jake Callaghan, the rugged and handsome DEA agent crashed his private plane into her mountain, in the midst of the devastating flooding that has all but destroyed the valley below them. As Maggie works to rescue Jake, the prisoner he is transporting escapes and the battle for survival is on. Despite the fight for their lives, Maggie and Jake begin to recognize the sparks of passion between them and it terrifies her more than the evil that has invaded her mountain refuge. In the end they must both learn the importance of being rescued in order to be truly alive.
