Claire is no stranger to tribulation. She is just getting her career started as a promising journalist in New York when she drops everything to go home to Sault Ste. Marie to help run her father's company while he recovers from a severe heart attack. But her difficulties are only just beginning. Her job won't wait for her return, and her fiancée is less than supportive, walking away when it's clear she won't be able to rush back to his side.
