As a child, she wrote a children's book entitled "It's a Strange Day" which placed 4th in her district. That was the beginning of her passion for creating stories that children would enjoy. She was always interested in hearing comical stories from coworkers, family and friends and would write about it in a way that kids would find pretty amusing! Natasha has two daughters, a niece and nephew who've also impacted her writing career. They would always tell her funny stories of what happened in school on any given day. She was also inspired by her own childhood. Growing up in the Dinwiddie County school system, there was never a dull moment. There, she found herself in some of the most awkward, yet fun situations. Over the years and with a stronger relationship in Christ, she realized writing Christian based children's books was her calling. Now, with her friend Angela sharing similar interests with natural God given talent for creating fun stories, she knew this was their destiny! Angela Wood grew up writing from an early age. Anything from poems and songs to short stories and plays. She has truly enjoyed collaborating with Natasha on their Christian children's stories, (The Misadventures of) Tood and Taboon. Angela has two sons who contribute to her youthful outlook and passion in her writing. They are such an inspiration and blessing to her! Angela met Natasha through work and the two have maintained a close friendship ever since. It is through their hilarious experiences and strong bond that Tood and Taboon was born. They hope that many children, big and small will enjoy their stories and be able to find God in the midst. Angela and Natasha's passion for sharing the love of Jesus is their most important endeavor. They pray many people are touched by their stories and come to know Jesus in a deeper way.
