This delightful tale is a perfect reminder of just how special Louisiana is. This original story was created by Megan Larmann, a Louisiana native and part-time mermaid. She is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in education. As a child, Megan spent many days on Lake Pontchartrain fishing with her parents. She hopes to teach others about Louisiana and to inspire young people to make a difference.
