Dean MacMichael is an experienced investigator. He has more than thirty years in the field. Yet, despite all his successes he never once made a conscious decision to pursue this career. Instead, he let fate push him along where it might, accepting the good with the bad and all the time marveling at his success. Fate kept him from combat during the Vietnam War but dropped him in the middle of a "war zone" at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. He survived near fatal injuries at the hands of '70s revolutionaries and gained local fame and not just a little ill will among his contemporaries. He took on the mundane as well as the potentially disastrous. He had his satisfying successes and bothersome failures. Meet Dean "Deege" MacMichael, New York Mid Hudson Valley's most famous private investigator as he goes along on the ride of his life.
